I have now been accepted onto a masters (MRes) course in music composition with the University of Liverpool. I will be working with music genres such as electroacoustic and acousmatic in order to continue refining advanced techniques for generating amazing textures. This is highly beneficial to my progression as a composer as it will enable me to focus fully on creating new music without many other distractions. Additionally, my proposed research includes experimentation with hybridised genre combinations merging textures and characteristics from various genres like EDM with classical music. Technology and electronic music are potentially central areas of study in relation to modern classical composition.

Update (Oct 2022): MRes completed successfully with a result of 80 distinction
